Atmel's Route Under MAC (RUM) with support for IPv6 and 6LoWPAN is a highly flexible stack solution for low power and low cost wireless sensor network applications. Providing Internet Protocol (IP) over low power, low data rate wireless transceivers enables immediate Interoperability with existing wired networks. With an IPv6 foundation, each wireless node on the network can be given a worldwide unique IPv6 address and directly communicate with any other IPv6 device in the world without the need for any translation or a complex gateway. |
