Atmel and Adeneo Embedded Announce Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 Training in Milan for AT91SAM9 ARM9 Embedded MPUs October 19 -22, 2009, Milan, Italy; San Jose, CA, September 21, 2009 - Atmel® Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) and Adeneo Embedded today announced a Microsoft® Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 R2 training course in Milan, Italy, from October 19 to 22, 2009. This event is a unique opportunity for software system designers to develop applications based on Windows Embedded CE and the industry's leading AT91SAM9. The AT91SAM9 is an embedded microprocessor unit (MPU) family based on the ARM926EJ-S™ core that is a platform of choice for embedded designers. This is a four-day technical, hands-on training that is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of the Windows CE development environment. By the end of the course, attendees will have a solid development foundation to optimize their own systems. Atmel will offer each attendee a complimentary AT91SAM9263 evaluation kit that will allow them to continue their evaluation and development on the Windows Embedded CE and Atmel's AT91SAM9 eMPU family.
