System, hardware, software, and firmware design services. Microprocessor based digital and analog devices. Real time, embedded, and control systems. Data acquisition, signal processing, data communications, networking, automation, and RF communications. Distributed sensor and control device networking. Complex system integration. Windows and PDA programs.
FSD has a proprietary technology for networking distributed sensor and control devices, supporting a wide range of devices including 4-20 milliamp sensors, switch sensors, temperature / humidity sensors, rotary encoders, and other sensors, plus output devices such as panel-mount LED module displays, relay controls, and AC power control devices. Microcontroller and non-micro devices are supported, with plug-and-play operation. Atmega128 and smaller AVRs are used.
FSD has designed a family of LED sign modules based on AVR microprocessors, currently in high volume production, with years of field usage. Recent revisions and additions to the product line are based on the ATmega128, using its integral remote programming capabilities. An early design used the ATmega103, paired with an AT90S2313 to provide remote programming capability.
FSD has also designed an ATmega128 based multi-module controller for larger LED sign arrays, and Windows based software to remotely program AVR based systems from Pocket PC PDAs and NT/XP desktop systems. |
